Starlance

Starlance is an addon for Valkyrien Skies and Cosmic Horizons that enables space travel on Valkyrien Skies ships. After a ship reaches Y=560, it enters the space dimension, and can travel to other planets. Gravity varies across planets, so be sure to pack extra fuel and thrust.

Features

• Atmospheric collision: Fly high enough in a VS ship to go to Cosmic Horizons space!
• Planet collision: VS ships can enter Cosmic Horizons planets!

Blocks

• The Thruster produces thrust when powered with redstone.
• The Drag Inducer acts as an air brake when powered with redstone.
• The Air Thruster acts as a weaker version of the thruster, and works best in space.
• The Rocket Assembler can assemble ships when powered with redstone.
• The Gyroscope can spin a ship depending on the side its redstone powered - useful for turning in space

Items

• The Wrench changes the thruster mode. By default, thrusters apply force at their position relative to your ship, which can cause your ship to spin. Once clicked with a wrench, the thruster applies for directly to the ship’s center, similar to Kontraption.
• Magnet boots allow you to ‘stick’ to VS ships in low or zero gravity. Very useful so you don’t float away!

• Warp drive, to allow VS ships to travel between solar system

Create compatibility

Starlance has Create compatibility in the form of Ponders. This means that while installing Create is optional, it does care what version of Create you have.

For Create 0.5.1j, use Starlance 1.4.1. For Create 6.0.6+, use Starlance 1.4.2.
