The jury-rigged propeller bearing is an early game solution to propeller rotation. It's weaker than the brass propeller bearing, and it can only be used with the blade controller; when sails are placed on the bearing, it will fail to assemble. With the 'propeller blade damage' config enabled, it will also damage blades over time, so planes built with this bearing will eventually fail.
According to Merriam-Webster, 'jury-rigged' means 'to erect, construct, or arrange in a makeshift fashion', whereas 'jerry-rigged' means 'organized or constructed in a crude or improvised manner'. 'Jury-rigged' is the intended spelling.
