Revision

Clockwork is a mod built on the framework of Valkyrien Skies 2 and Create, providing new opportunities for exploration, and new ways to discover your own path to adventure in your world. From new mechanics to new biomes, new creatures and new machines- when magical whimsy and technological ingenuity collide, Clockwork stands in their wake.

Blocks

• Jury-Rigged Propeller Bearing - The jury-rigged propeller bearing is an early game solution to propeller rotation. It’s weaker than the brass propeller bearing, and it can only be used with the blade controller; when sails are placed on the bearing, it will fail to assemble. With the ‘propeller blade damage’ config enabled, it will also damage blades over time.

• Brass Propeller Bearing - The brass propeller bearing is a later-game solution to propeller rotation. It’s stronger than the jury-rigged propeller bearing, and can be used with the blade controller or with sails placed on the bearing. It will not damage blades over time, even with the ‘propeller blade damage’ config enabled.

• Copter Bearing - Unlike the propeller bearings, the Copter Bearing is gyroscopic, meaning that it will always try to maintain the orientation in which it was placed. It may be used in any orientation, though is often used vertically for helicopters and other similar vehicles. The Copter Bearing is currently a WIP and does not have a recipe.

• Blade Controller - The blade controller is used to control the blade angle of a propeller. Each blade controller can hold up to a maximum of eight blades (or wide blades); the more blades you use, the greater the force the propeller generates, at the cost of requiring higher SU in order to function. The blade angle can be set by holding down right click when prompted on the front of the blade controller. The angle must be set higher than zero for the propeller to function, and higher blade angles also increase both force and SU.

• Blade - Blades are used with Blade Controllers and Propeller Bearings (Jury-Rigged or Brass) to generate thrust, which is used to propel planes, airships, or other vehicles. They also have an additional variant, called Wide Blades, which produce more thrust and use more SU per blade. They must be attached to a Blade Controller to function.

• Wanderlite Ore - Wanderlite Ore is an extremely rare ore that drops Wanderlite Crystals. It spawns in the deepslate layers of the world and the End Dimension. The ore awakens when interacted with, floating upwards. Since it floats so freely, you think it could be found more plentifully in stones from beyond the skies…

Items

• Wanderlite Crystals - Wanderlite Crystals are obtained from Wanderlite Ore, and are the backbone of Clockwork’s progression and world.
